Four years ago I decided to make a drastic change in my career and life, with the support of my best friend and wife, Brandi. I realized that striving for goals that are focused on money and position titles, was not as fulfilling as I thought it would be. I always have had a desire to teach and help mentor young people. I enrolled at The University of Akron in 2009, majoring in Middle Childhood Math and Science Education. I plan on earning my Master's Degree in Administration. I began coaching football at Wadsworth in 2008 at the freshman level, and moved to the middle school level in 2011. This allows me to teach student athletes not only about the sport, but life skills such as responsibility, dedication, goal setting and teamwork.

I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2001, with a degree in Horticulture. I currently am employed as a Certified Arborist by The Davey Tree Expert Company. I have been with the company since 2003. I have had the opportunity to work with many different people, both as colleagues and clients. Many of the skills that I have learned from these people I will be able to use in my future classroom.
My wife and I live in Wadsworth with our two sons, Cadin(7) and Carson(5), and are expecting our two daughters, Avery and Addison to arrive Spring 2012.
